Title: UI Design Manager

Location : Detroit, MI

• Duration : 4 months
• Interview Type : Phone face 2 face

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interactive design direction experience with 2+ years experience as an administrative lead/manager
• MFA, BA or BS in areas such as interactive design, Fine Arts or Graphic Design.
• Demonstrated experience with a variety of design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and design-asset management tools
• A working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience working with responsive framework, such as Bootstrap preferred
• Demonstrated experience directing all elements of design, including typography, imagery, iconography, etc.
• Proven experience developing and managing visual design guidelines and standards
• Proven experience presenting creative work to decision makers, stakeholders, and colleagues
• Proven experience working in a collaborative environment; Agile experience a definite plus
• Demonstrable appreciation of user centered design principles and methods
• Superior conceptual and critical-thinking abilities, as well as the ability to provide hands-on tactical execution with the utmost attention to detail and timeline management
