Generator Attendant

You will perform routine and non-routine visual and physical tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether requalifying and/or repairs are required Operates and maintains acetylene generator, compressors, and associated equipment Fills and processes acetylene cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures You will check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fills any necessary product Completes quality control documentation following company and governmental procedures You will operate a forklift truck for the movement of cylinders and calcium carbide containers May load and unload trucks and check for cylinder quantities styles and products You will assist with customer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment Primarily works with minimal supervision utilizing independent decision-making skills
