About The Role
Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects. Your Impact As a Maintenance Technician, you play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our highly automated production systems. Your work directly contributes to equipment availability, product quality, and continuous improvement across the plant. What You’ll Do Working within a shift-based maintenance team, you will: Ensure maximum equipment availability and operational safety Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions Support the continuous improvement of machines, tools, and processes Improve Maintenance KPIs and contribute to Team Performance (e.g., equipment availability, downtime, spare parts inventory, mean-time between failures/MTBF) Ensure compliance with HSE and workplace safety standards Maintain and support energy efficiency measures and reporting activities Your Technical Focus Depending on your background, you will specialize in one of the following areas: Electrical Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on production systems Maintain switching and transformer systems Troubleshoot electrical faults and automation systems Work with electrical schematics (e.g., E-Plan) Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and certifications Support facility-related electrical systems Mechanical Perform mechanical maintenance in line with maintenance plans Repair and optimize mechanical components of production equipment Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, and machining processes (turning, milling, drilling) Support mechanical infrastructure and facility equipment Mechatronic Perform integrated electrical & mechanical maintenance activities Troubleshoot complex automated systems combining mechanics and electronics Work across automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems Support both production equipment and facility systems What You Bring Completed vocational training / apprenticeship in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical or mechatronics Initial experience in maintenance (ideally in automated manufacturing environments) Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Basic knowledge of: Automation principles MS Office and ideally SAP PM / EBP Quality standards (IATF / VDA / OEM awareness) Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards Ability to work independently and within a team Willingness to work in a shift model (e.g., 4x8) English required; German and/or French are a plus What We Offer A stable and growing industrial environment Work with modern, highly automated production systems A collaborative and experienced technical team with an international background Opportunities for training, certification, and career development Competitive compensation aligned with your experience and qualifications Attractive benefits and rewards Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.
