Sr. Technical Writer

### Accountabilities

• Lead the end-to-end documentation strategy for complex product areas, delivering accurate, modular, and scalable technical content using structured authoring methodologies.
• Research product functionality by reviewing technical specifications, exploring software workflows, interviewing subject matter experts, and analyzing source code when necessary.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve user guides, technical documentation, release documentation, API-related content, and knowledge resources that enhance customer adoption.
• Own documentation quality throughout the release lifecycle, performing verification activities and supporting release signoff to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Utilize AI-powered writing tools responsibly to accelerate documentation workflows while maintaining rigorous editorial standards and factual accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, user experience, and support teams to identify documentation gaps, prioritize content initiatives, and improve the overall user experience.
• Develop and maintain information architecture standards, style guides, metadata strategies, and reusable content frameworks while mentoring fellow technical writers.
• Analyze documentation usage, customer feedback, search analytics, and support trends to continuously optimize content effectiveness and discoverability.

## Requirements

• 7+ years of technical writing experience within enterprise SaaS or software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, English, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong expertise in structured authoring methodologies, including DITA, XML, topic-based content development, and Component Content Management Systems (CCMS).
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts by reviewing technical documentation, software architecture, engineering designs, and source code.
• Experience creating documentation for enterprise software, cloud platforms, ERP systems, supply chain solutions, or other technically sophisticated applications.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools and Large Language Models (LLMs), with a strong understanding of content validation and quality assurance best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with exceptional attention to grammar, clarity, consistency, and editorial quality.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and project ownership skills with experience working effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Experience using documentation analytics, customer feedback, and support metrics to drive continuous content improvements.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality technical documentation, information architecture, and user-focused content is highly desirable.
