### Accountabilities
The Security Program Manager will drive the execution and continuous improvement of cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment between security goals, engineering practices, and business priorities.
- Own and coordinate the Vulnerability Management Program, partnering with security engineering teams to prioritize issues and promote accountability across business units.
- Drive security metrics, reporting, and program reviews to improve transparency, measure performance, and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead complex, high-visibility security projects by coordinating efforts across engineering teams, product managers, and global stakeholders.
- Build and improve project management processes, tools, and operational practices to increase efficiency and program maturity.
- Mentor teams on security program best practices and encourage a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Support business operations through activities such as calendar coordination, vendor management, and organizational planning for security teams.
- Collaborate with software engineers, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams located across different regions.
- Help enable engineering teams to integrate security principles into their daily processes and decision-making.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate combines technical security knowledge with strong program management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience leading initiatives across multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management.
- 2+ years of exposure to cybersecurity, security engineering, site reliability engineering, or software engineering environments.
- Ability to understand technical concepts related to IT systems, web applications, servers, and software development.
- Experience managing complex programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to create accountability, manage priorities, and drive projects to completion.
- Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate technical information into business-oriented communication.
