The

Supervisor – Unit & Electrical Assembly

leads day-to-day production operations within the unit and electrical assembly area at the Waukesha manufacturing site. This role is responsible for driving team performance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and executing production plans to meet customer delivery commitments.

This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in the

start-up of a new manufacturing line

, directly impacting operational success, team development, and process execution from the ground up.

The Supervisor will coach and develop employees, maintain efficient workflows, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and continuously improve assembly processes while delivering a high-quality product in a safe work environment.

What you’ll do

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper use of equipment, PPE, and safe work practices within the assembly area
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company and ISO standards

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and support team members in the unit and electrical assembly area
  • Provide regular feedback, manage performance, and support employee development plans
  • Develop and implement training programs for production technicians
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team environment

Operations & Execution

  • Oversee daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and delivery targets
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate expectations to the team
  • Proactively manage production flow to ensure on-time delivery to customers
  • Identify and address production issues, bottlenecks, and material shortages

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with materials, engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure production readiness
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource planning to meet business needs
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and align priorities

Continuous Improvement & Quality

Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the assembly area

Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance performance

Participate in projects and other business initiatives to improve processes related to Lean operations, cost savings, new product development, safety, quality, and employee training and development.

Support problem-solving efforts and implement corrective actions

What you’ll have

Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing or related field OR equivalent experience (5+ years in manufacturing/assembly environment)

Prior experience leading or supervising production teams

Strong understanding of manufacturing, industrial wiring, assembly processes, and production workflows

Work Schedule

Onsite Monday through Friday

Travel

  • This role will require an initial trip of approximately 2 months to Jenbach, Austria to become a
  • unit assembly expert by working hands-on in Jenbach
  • for training and to establish relationships with the peers.
