As the
Engineering Manager
- , you will a
- ct as a leader and technical expert for our products making use of a proven track record in the stated technical area.
- You’ll l
- ead the team successfully in a matrix organization & develop team members in line with company goals and objectives.
You’ll
Lead an engineering team as functional manager and take responsibility for personnel and engine develop
ment topics focusing on product support for Jenbacher product line produced in the US covering all domains such as design, mechanical engineering, performance and controls. Give technical guidance and lead projects in the stated area of specialty, ensuring alignment with other functions globally inside and outside of engineering.
Act as a go-to function within Engineering for Production and Procurement with the ability to remove roadblocks and ensure common goals are
achieved.

What you’ll bring
Bachelor or Master of
S
cience in
M
echanical engineering or similar.
Strong leadership abilities to manage and support a team of engineers, with proven mentoring, coaching and motivational skills
.
Long-term professional experience in combustion engine development with substantial experience in new product development and leading cross-functional projects.
Profound experience in several fields such as design, analysis, validation, project management
.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus), with the ability to influence, present key information and engage in discussions with senior management.
Strong interpersonal skills with team player mentality. Ability to interact smoothly at all levels of the orga
nization.

Travel
- This position will require an extended trip (2-3 months) to Jenbach, Austria to train on the product and collaborate with Jenbach peers. After the initial trip, will be up to
