The May Institute is seeking a Behavior Specialist, Adult Services in Raynham, MA, to drive clinical excellence in our residential and Day Habilitation programs for adults aged 22+ with autism. In this role, you'll mentor staff, shape innovative programs, and collaborate with national experts in autism and developmental disabilities.

Your Impact

  • Supervise the implementation of ABA services, showcasing your leadership skills.
  • Develop and monitor behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans tailored to each adult's unique needs. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring effective interventions.
  • Compile data and create graphs to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and skill assessments. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in guiding decision-making and optimizing outcomes.
  • Interact with dedicated staff by providing training, coaching, and ongoing support. Partner with families, guardians, and program teams to promote consistency across residential, Day Habilitation, and community settings.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field required. Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and currently enrolled in a master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related BCBA-track program.
  • Remarkable problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and compassion for adults with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as their families and support teams.
  • Strong foundational clinical skills, with the ability to support functional behavior assessments, behavior support plans, and evidence-based interventions under appropriate supervision.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to drive team success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • $63,000-$85,000
