Key Roles and Responsibilities As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will support the Corporate Affairs team in executing strategic internal and external communications initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in communications planning, content development, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to efforts that enhance employee experience and strengthen Sembcorp’s brand reputation across the region. Assist in coordinating internal engagement activities such as employee townhalls, recognition events, and other corporate functions Contribute to the creation of engaging content for internal platforms (e.g., sharepoint, teams) and external channels (e.g., LinkedIn) Support the development of communication materials including key messages, presentations, and briefing documents Help track media coverage and compile reports to evaluate communications impact Research and assist in preparing for leadership speaking opportunities and thought leadership initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure communication outputs align with business and brand objectives Perform administrative and logistics tasks to support day-to-day operations of the communications team Qualifications, Skills & Experience Background in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar design tools is a plus A creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling Highly organised, resourceful, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated interest in corporate communications, media, or public affairs Our Culture at Sembcorp At Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviours that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition.
