Summer intern for HVDC Control & Protection

About The Role
- You will assist in the design, development, and testing of control and protection algorithms for HVDC systems also conduct simulations and analyses using specialized software tools (e.g., PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink) to evaluate system performance and stability.
- You will support the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and test procedures.
- You will participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions also contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting activities related to HVDC control and protection systems.
- You will learn and apply industry standards and best practices for HVDC technology also perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- You will currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a focus on power electronics, control systems, and/or power system protection.
- Familiarity with power system analysis concepts and simulation tools (e.g., PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Basic understanding of HVDC technology is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
