PEAK - Lab Technician

PEAK Genetics has an opportunity available to join our talented laboratory department in Watertown, WI! In this role, you will be a member of a highly skilled team supporting the evaluation and packaging of bovine products that are distributed around the world. SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Monday - Thursday ; 11:30AM - 9:00PM and Friday 12:00PM - 4:00PM Monday - Friday ; 7:00AM - 3:30PM AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Perform processing work according to standard SOPs Evaluate samples for motility, concentration, volume, and quality Maintain accurate records and inventory Keep records on bull registration and enter in appropriate databases Operate and maintain lab equipment QUALIFICATIONS Required Must have a valid driver’s license Capacity to work on feet and stand for long periods of time Willingness to learn and follow company protocols Ideal Basic computer skills working with Microsoft Office CHARACTERISTICS OF A SUCCESSFUL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team environment Effective communicator with attention to detail Detail-oriented with a knack for organization and process Ability to work with numbers and input data Willingness to grow and develop both personally and professionally
