Senior Software Engineer, Reporting Team

What you’ll do @Omnisend

• Own significant reporting capabilities from discovery through production operation.

• Shape technical and product decisions together with product and design partners.

• Design scalable services and data flows with clear reliability and observability expectations.

• Lead technical problem-solving across service boundaries.
• -
• Improve engineering practices through reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.

• Support other engineers without making formal people management part of the role.

We expect that you’ll bring

Core experience

• -
• 5+ years building production backend systems.
• -
• Strong experience in Go or another backend language, with an interest in adopting Go.
• -
• Experience designing APIs and data-intensive services.
• -
• Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
• -
• Experience operating services in a cloud environment.
• -
• Strong testing, debugging, and production ownership practices.

Useful, but not required

• React or another modern frontend framework.
