Threadroll Machinist

Thread Roll Machinist Available Shifts: 1st Shift (4AM-230PM) 2nd Shift (230PM-1AM) Saturday OT may be required Salary Range: $26.00-$36.00 dependent on individual knowledge, skill level, and demonstrated experience Key Responsibilities: Performs set-up operation process for thread roll machinery Utilizes drawings, work orders, and blueprints to produce quality parts Performs regular in process inspections, utilizing precision measurement equipment as needed (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.) Upholds site safety standards and standard operating procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment malfunctions Completes required production logs and other related documentation with accuracy Communicate urgent needs related to tooling and troubleshooting May be required to participate in regular department training and/or conduct training with new department employees

Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated experience running thread roll production machinery (waterbury, reed, hartford, automatic, and hand feed) Proficient use of precision measurement tools (mics, calipers, gages, etc.) Ability to read blueprints and work orders Must be able to read/write in English Physical Requirements: Must have to ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel for duration of shift Must be able to work in non-temperature controlled environment Must have the ability to work with and around heavy metal materials
