About The Role

Chief Physicist for Radiology and Radiology Oncology Conducts all aspects of radiation therapy physics, including clinical medical physics support, equipment calibration and commissioning, maintenance of appropriate quality assurance programs for equipment and treatment delivery, compliance with radiation safety, licensing issues and other pertinent regulatory requirements. Provides technical, scientific and administrative support to Radiation Oncology, Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Performs all functions appropriate for Medical Physicist as required by TSH. As Radiation Safety Officer, under the authorization of the hospital recommends and administers a Radiation Protection Program in accordance with state and national requirements.
