About The Role
Schedule Full Time: 80 Hours/Biweekly Hours: 11:00am - 7:00pm Weekend and Holiday On-Call Rotation, Required General Summary Performs a variety of tasks to support the system-wide mission of Logistics and Distribution including, but not limited to, issuing supplies, maintaining inventories and compiling stock records, receiving, preparing items for shipment and/or return to vendor, etc.. Duties and Responsibilities Moves/handles items such as, supplies, linen, mail, print products, equipment, etc.. Performs a variety of activities such as, receiving, storing, cleaning, issuing, counting, shipping and ordering of supplies and equipment. Complies with US Postal Service Regulations. Works to meet customer expectations - right stuff, right place, right time, right condition, right quantity, right price. Works in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Supports the capture and reporting of Key Performance Indicators/Measures that drive Continuous Improvement. Works with managers, supervisors, technicians, warehouses, mail services, print providers, couriers. Stocks vendor deliveries in designated areas. Receives requests for items, selects from inventory, loads distribution vehicles and distributes to designated areas. Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items. Inventories user storage areas and replenishes inventory or par levels. Prepares routine inventory reports and maintains records of in-house and on-order supplies. Supports periodic and special inventories. Participates in year-end inventories in cooperation with the Controller. Investigates discrepancies and reconciles. Monitors expiration dates. Processes inventory returns. Common Expectations: Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Marks inventory articles with identification codes as needed. Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED Required Work Experience: Less than 1 year Relevant experience. Required Driver's License Statement: Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
