About The Role
General Summary Supervises the Provider Service Center which provides superior customer service as the first point of contact to Physicians and Advance Practice Providers. Answers questions and provides guidance related to Credentialing/Contracting process, Human Resources (HR), Continuing Medical Education, Payroll, and Travel logistics and reimbursements. Fosters teamwork and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation in expanding the organizations mission, vision, and values. Liaisons with other system service center leaders. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Effectively can embrace and lead change, with the ability to supervise multi-disciplinary teams. Directly supervises the Provider Service Center. Encourages timely follow-up to inquiries received while resolving escalated items which can require supervisory attention. Ability to address both basic and complex questions to support Physicians and Advance Practice Providers related to administrative needs. Ability to identify knowledge base gaps for training needs while maintaining training resources for the Provider Service Center employees. Responsible for engaging Provider Service Center employees to build and maintain a conducive and positive working environment. Responsible for the coordination of required hours to ensure full coverage of the Provider Service Center to meet needs of end users. Ability to compile data required to assess actives, establish metrics, and report trends that contribute to the HR Service Center’s overall success. Ability to compile data identify recommendations for ongoing improvement. Responsible for maintaining lines of communication with key players, stakeholders, customers, and end users. Harvests partnerships with other departments/service lines to proactively find solutions for patterns of concerns. Ability to remain knowledgeable of Provider Service Center resources and tools to provide training support for end users regarding all self-service functions of appropriate technology. Responsible for and encourages compliance of the organizations policies and procedures. Common Expectations: Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree In Business or related field. Required Work Experience: 2 years Practice Management experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments. Ability to successfully develop staff. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong time management skills a must.
