Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborating with the administrator over special education to develop and coordinate daily service schedules, evaluation timelines, and annual IEP meetings Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility determinations, annual reviews, and progress monitoring discussions Conducting speech and language evaluations and contributing to assessment planning as part of the special education process Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized speech-language goals aligned with each student’s IEP Providing specially designed instruction to meet the unique communication needs of students through a variety of service models. Documenting service delivery, progress notes, and compliance-related paperwork in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines Consulting with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies across classroom and home environments Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Other duties as assigned. NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child as a result of their disability, and the SLP plays a critical role in supporting student access to instruction and overall academic success. Qualifications: Must hold a master’s degree in speech language pathology - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associate (ASHA).
