Research Associate

The primary responsibility of this position is to participate in a small team that operates the VIC’s flow cytometers, and assists users with any troubleshooting they may require. These responsibilities include general maintenance, calibration, trouble-shooting, and simple repair of the cytometers (QA), and quality control (QC) of the data before and during data acquisition. - Work with users to create flow cytometry panels for their individualized research needs. - Quality Assurance: Routine maintenance of cytometers, calibration (compensation matrix, CS&T). - Coordinate repairs of the flow cytometers, either internally or with the cytometer manufacturer. - Reagent ordering and billing. - Run samples for the users on the flow...
