Job Title: Sapio Engineer Experience Required: 5+ Years Location: India Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sapio Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, developing, and supporting Sapio Sciences ELN/LIMS Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, scientists, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize laboratory informatics solutions that enhance research and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, develop, and maintain applications within the Sapio Sciences ELN/LIMS platform. Gather and analyze business requirements from research, laboratory, and operational teams. Develop workflows, forms, templates, reports, and integrations using Sapio platform capabilities. Configure sample management, experiment management, inventory management, and laboratory workflows. Integrate Sapio solutions with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, MES, data warehouses, and third-party laboratory instruments. Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and custom extensions to support business processes. Perform system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Create technical documentation, configuration guides, and SOPs. Support system upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity requirements where applicable. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in ELN/LIMS implementation and support. 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Sapio Sciences Platform . Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, sample lifecycle management, and scientific data management. Experience with workflow configuration, business rules, and application development within Sapio. Proficiency in SQL and database concepts. Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations. Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field. · Hands-on experience with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot, BIOVIA ELN, Workbook, CISPro, and ONE Lab implementations. · Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or life sciences industries. · Strong understanding of GxP, GMP, GLP, FDA regulations, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. · Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and cloud-based BIOVIA deployments. · Knowledge of laboratory informatics, LIMS, SDMS, and scientific data management systems. · Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and enterprise application integrations. · Experience in system validation, qualification, and migration projects. · Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices. · BIOVIA product certifications or relevant Dassault Systèmes certifications are highly preferred. · Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with scientists, business users, and cross-functional teams. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in client-facing roles. · Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical discussions.
