THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Multifamily Construction Project Manager , you’ll take a leadership role in the successful delivery of multifamily construction projects from planning through completion.
You'll partner directly with Project Executives, Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to drive the budget, schedule, quality, safety, and overall success of your projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants ownership and accountability—not simply another seat at the table.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Lead day-to-day project management for multifamily construction projects.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and change management.
- Drive project schedules and proactively identify risks to critical milestones.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings for constructability, coordination, and potential project risks.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
- Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate permitting processes and requirements with local jurisdictions.
- Lead weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and clearly communicate project status, budget, schedule, risks, and upcoming priorities.
- Build productive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor procurement and material deliveries to identify potential delays before they impact the schedule.
- Drive quality-control efforts throughout construction.
- Help resolve field and project issues quickly and decisively.
- Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and other project team members.
- Promote Ironcore’s commitment to safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3–7+ years of construction project management experience , with multifamily experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant construction experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of multifamily construction means, methods, sequencing, and project delivery.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong financial and project-controls mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving construction environment.
- A proactive mentality—you identify problems, develop solutions, and take ownership of the outcome.
Competitive Base Salary
$190,000 base salary plus $15,000 bonus

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to eligible full-time employees, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment .
401(k) + Company Match
Build for your future with Ironcore’s 401(k) retirement plan. Employees become eligible after three months of continuous employment, with a Company match of:
- 100% of the first 3% you contribute
- 50% of the next 2% you contribute
3 Weeks of Paid Time Off
Employees accrue 120 hours (3 weeks) of PTO annually , increasing to 160 hours (4 weeks) after five years of continuous employment.
Paid Sick Leave
Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with California law and Company policy, with accrual beginning on your first day of employment .
Employer-Paid Long-Term Disability Insurance
Ironcore provides eligible full-time employees with long-term disability coverage at no cost to the employee, providing income replacement equal to 60% of eligible earnings , subject to the terms of the plan.
Employer-Paid Life Insurance
Eligible full-time employees receive $10,000 in Company-paid basic life insurance coverage .
Bonus Opportunity
Eligible positions may include performance and/or project-based bonus opportunities based on the terms of the position.
Vehicle & Phone Allowances
Position-specific vehicle and phone allowances may be provided based on project responsibilities and the terms of the position.
