Cook – Chinese Cuisine & Teppanyaki

We are looking for an experienced **Cook specialising in Chinese cuisine and teppanyaki** to join our kitchen team on a **permanent, full-time contract**. **One (1) position** is available.

In this role you will prepare authentic Chinese dishes and cook live at the teppanyaki grill in front of guests. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in flavour, presentation and speed, and who can keep quality consistent during busy service.

**Your main tasks:**

• Preparing and cooking Chinese dishes according to our menu and recipes
• Operating the teppanyaki grill, including live cooking in front of guests
• Handling ingredient preparation (cutting, marinating, portioning) and mise en place
• Maintaining food quality, taste and presentation to a high standard
• Following food hygiene, safety and cleanliness requirements in the kitchen
• Working smoothly together with the rest of the kitchen and service team

**We expect from you:**

• Solid, demonstrated experience in **Chinese cuisine**
• Practical experience with **teppanyaki-style cooking**
• Good knowledge of ingredients, wok techniques and Asian cooking methods
• Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure during busy shifts
• A responsible, hygienic and reliable way of working
• Good teamwork and communication skills
