We are now looking for candidates to join our International Graduate Program The Volvo Group International Graduate Program will give you a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of the Volvo Group and to kick-start your career through international assignments, work in different parts of the organization, networking and professional and personal development. Upon completion of the program, you will continue your Volvo career in the department that you have been recruited to. Our program runs for 12 months and includes a combination of common and individual graduate activities and day-to-day work at the home company. It consists of learning activities in your home organization, project work and an international assignment. It also consists of three weeks of common development activities with the global graduate group, meaning you will network with colleagues from all over the world. Common activities in the latest program took place in Sweden, India and the US. During the program you will gain a solid understanding of the Volvo Group, participate in different training sessions such as diversity, personal development, project management, cross-cultural communication etc. Trainee – Group Accounting & Consolidation Group Accounting & Consolidation is part of Group Reporting, Tax and Control reporting to CFO. It is responsible for the external financial reporting, including related processes, for the Volvo Group. This responsibility includes development of accounting policies (IFRS) and instructions, preparation of annual and quarterly reports as well as structures in financial systems. Responsibilities The aim of the graduate program is to give insight into accounting for the Volvo Group, participate in projects and work in different group departments connected to Finance. This will give a good preparation for future positions in the group. During the year you will work in different areas of Group Reporting, Tax & Control covering most parts of the group including one period of approximately 3 months abroad.
