Project Manager Verification Quality

Are you the person that believes in quality? Believe that the level of quality will show the level of customer satisfaction and profitability?

As a project manager verification quality at Volvo Penta, you will be in charge of all the planning of test activities concerning quality issues. But most of all being involved in building up a new way of thinking about quality. You will have the opportunity to work closely with test and calibration engineers in optimization of the powertrain system and also the field test department to find the problem, verify and validate solutions.

Challenge description

PMV Quality will be the person in the front line for product development. You will take in information from the global aftermarket and use your competence and network to understand if it is problem that product development needs to act on before it will be an official quality case.

When an issue from the aftermarket becomes a quality problem, your task will be to secure resources in the testing department and solve the problem together with the design engineers.

You will

• •Secure resources at the test department, both test cells, test objects and test engineers for quality issues
• •Be responsible to gather information from the after market
• •Attend quality meetings within all design areas to be up to date about quality issues
• •Make sure the focus on quality will increase in all departments in the product development section
