Job Requirements

•University Degree in Engineering or Chemistry

  • 5-10 years’ industrial experience

Preferably experience from chemical industry

  • Strong leadership skills with 5+ years’ experience as a leader, including experience as 2nd line manager
  • Commitment to safety and role model in the HSE area
  • Results oriented with focus on delivery and Continuous Improvement
  • High interest in developing people and organisation
  • Fluent in Swedish and English

We are now recruiting a Production Manager for the Surface Chemistry production site in Stockvik – a complex and highly prioritized production site within Nouryon.

As Production Manager, you will be accountable for production according to agreed production plan, continuous improvement efforts and talent management. It is a key role at the site, and we are looking for a skilled and driven leader with the ability to create engagement and work satisfaction through delivering good results.

Main responsibilities

•Coordinate and synchronize all production and maintenance activities in Surface Chemistry Stockvik

  • HSE leader and responsible for all HSE aspects within a high hazard plant, including improving process safety and safety performance, and taking appropriate actions when risks are identified
  • Accountable for allocation of overall yearly maintenance budget for SC, aligned with technology, maintenance and business priorities
  • Responsible for production according to agreed production plan, operating within the agreed plant budgets
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction
  • Drive continuous improvement and improve plant productivity
  • Initiate relevant investment projects to improve plant performance
  • Provide expert know-how and input to the scoping and basic engineering of capital projects
  • Commissioning of new or modified assets handed-over by the Asset Management organization
  • Create a capable organization where people perceive their workplace as a great place to work
  • Ensure proper staffing
  • Functionally lead, coach and develop maintenance technicians, operators and staff as appropriate
  • Drive talent management and a high engagement culture
  • Use and review KPI’s for performance management
