We are looking for a Logistics Engineer with experience of Supply Chain management & material control from the automotive industry. You will be working on customer site with efficiently procure material from suppliers, in accordance with the delivery schedules a/o other agreements to ensure on time deliveries and material availability at point of use. Analyze and act on late/early deliveries and other warnings/alerts. Verify and secure correct parameter settings and master data
Responsibilities
- Secure parts availability from suppliers in the most cost efficient way
- When disruptions appear investigate the reason and initiate dialog with involved parties and coordinate root casue analyzes. Take actions
and follow-up corrective actions.
- Consolidate supplier performance and communicate regularly on the performance figures and trends, towards the defined supplier
- and if necessary towards Purchasing, in order to define action plans needed for improvement.
- •Ensure targets / KPI´s are met.
- Continous improvements within supply chain i.e transport, inventory, packaging.
- Develop yourself , your team and the processes in which you are involved.
