We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. 1 Quality Engineer (all genders) Job-ID: 200135 I Work Location Model: On-site Flex I Arbeitsort: Salzburg I Work Country: Österreich The impact you'll make As a Quality Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. Your expertise will help develop excellence in product design and manufacturing supporting Lam's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products. What you'll do * Perform incoming and outgoing goods inspections * Analyze deviations in components and equipment and drive corrective actions * Handle internal and external complaints (NCe, NCi) * Manage quality-related documentation in line with established process landscapes * Administer RMA processes (Return Material Authorization) * Conduct internal and external audits * Support component and equipment testing activities * Monitor, maintain, and evaluate KPIs within the quality area * Manage measurement equipment, including calibration processes * Implement and sustain 5S standards within quality areas * Deliver and support various training sessions * Contribute to the development and optimization of process landscapes * Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the work area * Support supplier qualification and process approvals Who we're looking for * Completed vocational training (e.g., apprenticeship, technical college) or university degree * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality-related role * Experience conducting internal and/or external audits * Hands-on experience with measurement tools and equipment * Familiarity with Q-Core Tools * Proficiency in MS Office Suite * Business-fluent English * Strong communication and organizational skills * Independent, structured, and self-responsible working style * High level of resilience, flexibility, and teamwork * Reliable and detail-oriented Preferred qualifications * Certification as a Quality Representative is an advantage What we're offering This position is subject to the in the occupation group E. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
