• In this role, you will
• Configure and provision switches, routers, and other network equipment.
• Implement network changes related to customer services and internal infrastructure.
• Configure VLANs, physical and logical interfaces, link aggregation, and other network services.
• Prepare technical tasks for on-site engineers installing, replacing, or reconnecting equipment.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and infrastructure work with data-centre representatives.
• Verify completed work and confirm that network services operate correctly after changes.
• Handle provisioning requests from internal teams and customers.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and configuration issues related to provisioning activities.
• Escalate complex incidents and technical risks to Network Engineering or Network Operations.
• Communicate with carriers, data centres, and other service providers regarding technical matters.
• Participate in projects involving network expansion, new data-centre locations, and equipment deployment.
• Maintain network documentation, equipment records, configuration templates, and internal instructions.
• Contribute to the automation and standardization of routine provisioning processes.
• Follow established change-management, security, and documentation procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in network engineering, network provisioning, technical support, telecommunications, or data-centre operations.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, and WAN principles.
• Practical knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, STP, and LACP.
• Basic understanding of dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF.
• Experience configuring network equipment through a command-line interface.
• Ability to perform network diagnostics and resolve common connectivity and configuration issues.
• Understanding of network redundancy and high-availability principles.
• Experience preparing clear technical instructions or change requests.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical procedures accurately.
• Ability to manage several requests and coordinate tasks with multiple teams.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Written and spoken English at Intermediate level or higher.
• Nice to have
• Experience with Juniper, Brocade, Extreme Networks, or Nokia equipment.
• Knowledge of EVPN, VXLAN, or MPLS technologies.
• Previous experience with hosting, IaaS, telecommunications, or data-centre networks.
• Familiarity with network monitoring, IPAM, inventory, or configuration-management systems.
• Basic experience with Python, Ansible, APIs, Git, or other network-automation tools.
• Relevant certifications from networking hardware or software vendors.
