Salary: HSE salary scale or competitive, depending on experience €35,550-€45,000)

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team in Ireland. This role involves supporting individuals, families, and communities to improve wellbeing, safeguard vulnerable persons, and promote positive outcomes through professional social work practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of individuals and families and develop appropriate support plans.
  • Provide emotional support, advocacy, and practical assistance to service users.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, educators, and community services.
  • Safeguard children and vulnerable adults in line with national policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and reports.
  • Participate in case conferences, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Promote social inclusion, independence, and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Recognized qualification in Social Work.
  • Registration with CORU (or eligibility to register).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of Irish social care policies, legislation, and best practice.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Desirable

  • Experience in child protection, disability services, mental health, or community care.
  • Full clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
