  • Ensure service operates to schedule and provide reliable service

  • Operate ramps and lifts to assist passengers with accessibility needs.
  • Provide passengers with information regarding services and destinations.

  • Demonstrates an awareness of safety regulations and strives to follow them.
  • Adheres to laws, safety regulations and company policies as outlined in training.
  • Carry out walkaround checks.

Attention to Detail

  • Accurately complete logs and reports to a high standard for any bus defects
  • Capability to compile detailed written reports on bus-related incidents and accidents.
  • Proficiency in using onboard technology for communication, monitoring, and record-keeping

Versatility

  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weeks and nights.
  • Ability to adapt to changing routes, schedules and passenger’s requirements.

Cash Handling

  • Handle fare collection, issue tickets, and validate all passenger tickets.
  • Ensure accurate passenger accounting by verifying fare payment or the validity of tickets and travel passes.
  • Balance daily cash sales and submit payments at the end of each shift
