Athenry Truck & Refrigeration Centre is seeking a Procurement Consultant to manage purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory requirements across the business to join their team in Co. Galway, H65 NX33. This is a full time permanent position.

€46,000 - €54,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

40 hours per week

Key Duties

• Source and procure parts, equipment and services.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and supplier agreements.
• Manage supplier performance, procurement costs and inventory levels.
• Monitor purchasing requirements and support stock forecasting.
• Maintain procurement records, reports and purchasing systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory management.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with quotations, contracts and purchasing systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.

Desirable

• Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering, refrigeration or transport sectors.
• Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and supply chain operations.
