The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will support the Glanmire operation by ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of plant, production, and cleanroom-critical equipment. This is a hands-on technical role within a regulated environment, supporting both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production, ICS, and cleanroom equipment
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Support cleanroom compliance by maintaining equipment to required control standards.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment
• Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, site procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct fire walks at the end of shift ensuring close down procedures are adhered to.
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required

Skills & Experience

• Recognised trade qualification or relevant experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (cleanroom or regulated experience is an advantage)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• High attention to detail with strong safety awareness
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Hours: 39 hours per week
• Salary: €36,605.40 per annum
