About The Role

  • Technical degree in relevant domain.
  • Extensive experience from work as Manufacturing Engineer (ideally in aircraft industry).
  • Good understanding of 3D design models. Knowledge in Catia is strongly meriting.
  • Experience from work with machine processing methods. Own knowledge in NC programming is meriting.
  • Deep knowledge in materials including aluminum and stainless steel. Knowledge about aircraft grade requirements is meriting.
  • Strong communication skills. Accessible.
  • Teamplayer and team builder. Flexible. Driven.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Skills in Swedish is a merit.
  • Regularly interface design engineers, machine processing personnel and procurement.
  • Review mechanical design 3D models (Cativa v5) with manufacturability in mind.
  • Closely collaborate with design engineers to ensure product designs are cost effective /wrt material and operation time) and manufacturable.
  • Ensure early and ongoing manufacturing involvement to ensure new parts are manufacturable
  • Conduct time and cost analysis of manufacturing process alternatives
  • Apply judgement within defined practices in selecting methods and techniques to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications
  • Bridge communication gaps. Build teams.
  • Assist in review of external manufacturing partners.
  • Small consultant company in Malmö area. International team.
