Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials according to specifications for framing, trim, cabinetry, etc.
• Install and assemble framing components, including walls, floors, and roofs
• Apply drywall and plaster and perform finishing work such as sanding, priming, and painting
• Install windows, doors, cabinets, and molding

Requirements

• Proven experience as a skilled laborer in framing and finish work
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
• Excellent measurement and carpentry skills
• Ability to operate and maintain power tools safely and effectively
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
