Kahn 3 Medical Stepdown Fellowship provides experienced RNS with a supportive in depth professional development program focused on high acuity skills Robust 8 week orientation Enrollment in Critical Care Course Enrollment in Cardiac Dysthymia Course Hands on and Group Training Fellowship begins on days and moves to nights at mid point of orientation Principal Accountabilities: Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. Records patient vital signs and medical information. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification. 2 years of Acute Care Nursing Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date. Master’s degree in nursing or related field. ACLS certification.
