About The Role
Under general direction of the supervisor or delegated charge person, utilizes independent judgment to assist physicians during radiological services to patients, while adhering to departmental and organizational policies, procedures and standards.
Routinely assists physicians and technologists during fluoroscopic/ radiologic procedures. Working knowledge of appropriate employee and patient radiation safety practices that are in compliance with ALARA and state law. Take initiative to care for the needs and/or concerns of patients and visitors in procedure rooms, access hallways and waiting areas. Working knowledge of sterile/aseptic techniques and/or practices when needed. Maintain supplies and cleanliness Performs related duties as required
Required: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) Experience: Prior Healthcare Experience Licensure/Certification: Current AHA CPR/ BLS Certification Preferred: Education: Enrollment in an Accredited Radiology Program
