Trillium Woods is currently recruiting for hospitality focused CNAs. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities. Schedule pattern (two‑week rotation): UNIT / SHIFT WEEK 1 WEEK 2 HC 6:30am-3pm Sun, Tues, Thurs Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat HC 6am-3pm Sun, Thurs Sun, Thurs HC 6am-3pm Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat Sun, Thurs HC 3pm-11pm Every other Monday HC 2:30p-11p Sun, Wed Mon, Sat AL/MC 2:30p-11p Sun Sat Every other Weekend AL/MC 10:30p-7a Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat Tues, Wed AL/MC 10:30p-7a Tues, Sat Fri HC CNA/ TMA 11p-7:30a Sun Mon, Sat Primary Responsibilities: Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy. Assist residents with mealtime. Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor. Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed. Provide activities as planned and/or directed. Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner. Qualifications: Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry required. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. Open minded and flexible in meeting the needs and desires of the resident and their families. A desire to learn about the residents by observing their behavior and listening to them. A desire to have a voice in the care and concerns of the resident A desire to be a good team member and show respect of other team members. Thinks of new ideas and fun activities that will interest the residents. 2-3 years of long-term care, transitional care and memory care experience preferred.
