Hourly Pooled - Curatorial Internship: Gerald and Joyce Lang Print Study Room, University Art Museum
UW · Laramie, WY, United States
About The Role
The University of Wyoming Art Museum invites applications for a semester-long Curatorial Internship supported by a $3,500 grant from the International Fine Prints and Drawings Association. This paid internship offers a University of Wyoming student the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in curatorial research, exhibition development, and collections stewardship while working with the museum's permanent collection of more than 4,000 prints housed in the Gerald and Joyce Lang Print Study Room. Working closely with the Museum's Curator and Exhibitions Team, the selected intern will research, develop, and curate the next exhibition in the Print Study Room. Building on the current presentation of contemporary woodblock prints by Paul Binnie, the intern will identify thematic connections across the collection and help create an exhibition highlighting the breadth of the museum's holdings.
