About The Role
- A Surveillance Operator is responsible for observing casino and property operations using surveillance technology to protect the company, team members, guests and assets.
- Operates all surveillance equipment.
- Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
- Monitor asset protection for the casino and guests.
- Monitor security protection for guests, pavilion and casino property.
- Monitor tables, slot operations poker tables, cage and count room activities
- Monitor non-gaming areas, including exterior perimeters
- Complete written logs of activities during the shift
- Prepare written observation and policy violation reports.
- Must be able to respond calmly in a crisis and stressful situation.
- Make every attempt to keep your duties discreet and confidential.
- Performs all other tasks that may be assigned in the future .
- Must be minimally 21 years old.
- Prior Table Games knowledge or surveillance experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required .
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers and guests.
- Have the ability to work in a stressful, high volume, energetic atmosphere.
- Team oriented; enjoys working with and assisting people.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to understand commands, questions and instructions from supervisors and co-workers.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in close proximity to fellow employees.
- Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
- Be multi-tasked oriented.
- Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to distinguish letters and symbols; requires use of basic math.
- Requires the use of telephone and radio.
- Requires normal vision and hearing range.
- Understands and complies with policies and procedures, job description and other instructions.
- Salary Range: $22 -24 per hour (Depending on Experience)
