About the Role We are looking for a motivated and experienced Academic Recruiter to join EBAC's Academic Department in São Paulo. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our existing faculty network and identifying new expert practitioners and educators to enrich our course portfolio. You will work at the intersection of talent acquisition, academic coordination, and contract management — playing a vital role in ensuring that EBAC continues to deliver exceptional educational content developed by the best professionals in their fields. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in São Paulo, Brazil, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Product and Service Areas and the Head of Education and Production.
Key Responsibilities Faculty Relations & Contract Management ● Monitor and manage contractual relationships with current faculty members, ensuring timely initiation and negotiation of contract extensions ● Coordinate the updating of existing course materials and support the development of additional content within the scope of ongoing faculty collaborations ● Manage and align commercial terms for continuing partnerships, ensuring all parties meet agreed deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations Faculty Recruitment & Onboarding ● Source and identify new faculty candidates in the marketplace in accordance with briefs and priorities established by the Academic team ● Conduct preliminary screening interviews and prepare structured shortlists of qualified candidates for internal review ● Organize and facilitate introductory meetings between shortlisted candidates and instructional designers to define and agree upon the terms of collaboration, including scope of work, content and filming delivery deadlines, payment procedures, and other contractual aspects Market Mapping & Talent Pipeline ● Conduct proactive and systematic candidate mapping in the marketplace to support large-scale course development projects ● Build and maintain a structured talent pipeline of prospective faculty members available for long-term project engagement ● Monitor market trends and faculty availability to anticipate and address future academic staffing needs
Requirements Experience ● Experience in recruiting, preferably in roles involving talent sourcing, candidate pipeline management, and stakeholder coordination ● Previous experience in recruitment within EdTech companies or universities is considered a strong advantage Technical Skills ● Proficiency in Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ● Experience with pipeline and project management tools (Jira or similar ATS/project management software) ● Hands-on experience with recruiting and sourcing platforms, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Guppy, and other relevant tools ● Working knowledge of basic contract formation principles and ability to navigate standard commercial agreements Soft Skills & Competencies ● Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior academics and industry professionals ● Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines ● Detail-oriented approach, particularly in relation to commercial terms and contractual documentation ● Proactive, self-driven mindset with a collaborative approach to teamwork Languages ● Portuguese: Native or fully fluent (required) ● English: B2–C1 level (required) — used in internal communications, reporting, and occasional interaction with international partners and faculty
