Overview As an Ocean Freight Supervisor , you will ensure the smooth and timely execution of export shipments while overseeing and continuously improving operational procedures and processes. You will maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships, identify opportunities for business growth, and support the acquisition of new customers to drive service excellence and commercial success. Responsibilities Organization and coordination of the export & import shipments Optimization of processes and procedures Securing a high level of customer satisfaction while complying with customer-specific processes and procedures Customer support and consulting as well as acquisition of new customers Management and coordination of subordinate employees in term of personal and technical aspects Recruitment, assessment, training, and further development of employees Management of the export & import shipments in organizational and technical terms Securing smooth and on time processing Optimizing and securing the documentation of procedures and processes Supporting and advising customers Preparation of calculations and analyses as well as presentations Carrying out customs clearance Handling correspondence with customers, agents, and service providers Processing and handling sea freight FCL + LCL orders Conducting negotiation and sales meetings Leading, supporting, evaluating, and training employees Processing and maintenance of CRM and ensuring up-to-date data entry Create solutions and develop local SFR Product Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration 5 Years of Experience in Forwarding Leadership role Fluent oral and written English is a must Experience in leading negotiation and discussions Organizational talent as well as analytical skills Quick perception and open for changes High affinity for organizational and administrative tasks What AIT Can Offer You We believe in rewarding your contribution and supporting your everyday well‑being.
