HRIS Analyst

About the Role To support the day-to-day operations of the HRIS by maintaining accurate employee data, producing routine reports, and providing first-line user support, so that HR processes run smoothly on the system. Key Responsibilities Maintain the accuracy and completeness of employee records in the HRIS, including data uploads, mass updates and corrections. Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports using existing templates, assist in preparing dashboards and basic analytics. Provide first-line support for HRIS queries from HR and employees, resolving routine issues . Assist in testing system configurations, upgrades and new functionalities (UAT, test scripts, issue logging). Support workflow and process improvements by identifying repetitive manual tasks and recommending solutions. Maintain system documentation, SOPs and user guides, and comply with data privacy and security requirements (e.g., PDPA). Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS or HR data administration. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or HR system exposure may be considered. Exposure to an HRIS platform (e.g., Darwinbox ) is an advantage. Technical Competencies/ skill Proficient in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleaning). Working knowledge of HRIS modules such as Core HR, Leave, Attendance and Onboarding. Ability to run reports and perform bulk data uploads. Basic understanding of HR processes and Malaysian employment practices. Basic knowledge of SQL or reporting and dashboard tools is a plus.
