**About the Role**

We are looking for a hands-on **Senior Data Engineer** to join our Data team, to own and lead AutoDS's end-to-end data infrastructure and drive our evolution toward an AI-native data platform.

As the sole Data Engineer, you will manage our data pipelines, build AI-ready semantic and context layers, and develop AI agents to automate Data Engineering workflows.

**Key Responsibilities**

• **Data Engineering:** Own and optimize data pipelines, ingestion, transformations, and infrastructure using Snowflake, dbt, and Rivery.
• **Data Architecture:** Build and maintain semantic and business context layers, ensuring structured, trustworthy, and AI-ready data.
• **Data Governance:** Establish data lineage, taxonomy, metadata management, documentation, and quality standards.
• **Agentic AI:** Design and deploy AI agents for pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting, data quality, documentation, and dbt development.
• **Brain AI Integration:** Enable analytics agents to discover, understand, and reliably consume company data.

**Requirements**

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience with **end-to-end pipeline ownership**.
• Advanced **dbt**, Snowflake, SQL, and Python skills.
• Experience with **semantic layers and data modeling**
• Hands-on experience **building AI agents or agentic workflows**.
• Strong data architecture, governance, and automation skills.
• Experience in a similar role within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of your domain's initiatives
• A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, and independently adapting them to the organization’s needs.
