仓务专员(Warehouse Specialist)

Position Title: Warehouse Specialist Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-time Job Purpose The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for performing foundational daily warehouse operations, including stock receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and regular inventory counts. This entry-level role ensures overall stock accuracy and maintains a clean, safe, and organized operational environment through continuous adherence to 5S housekeeping standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Receiving & Inbound: Assist in unloading incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damage, and checking received items against delivery documents. Shelving & Put-Away: Systematically store and shelf received goods in designated warehouse locations to facilitate efficient access and inventory tracking. Picking & Packing: Accurately pick products based on material requisitions or sales orders, pack goods securely, and prepare them for dispatch. Stocktaking & Auditing: Participate in daily, weekly, and periodic stock counts (inventory audits) to ensure physical inventory matches records. 2. Workplace Maintenance & 5S Implementation Execute and sustain daily 5S standards across assigned warehouse areas: Sort: Clear unnecessary items from workstations and aisles. Set in Order: Ensure all tools, equipment, and goods are stored in marked, logical places. Shine: Maintain cleanliness of shelves, floors, and storage equipment. Standardize: Follow standard operating procedures to keep the work environment tidy and safe. Sustain: Consistently practice workplace discipline and safety practices. Maintain clear pathways, fire exits, and loading areas to prevent accidents and promote an efficient workflow. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Associate Degree / Diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred). Experience: No prior experience required; open to entry-level candidates and recent graduates eager to grow in supply chain operations. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical operational tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and handling stock.
