SWOT Hospitality is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel on the beautiful island of Ios, Greece.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for gastronomy, creativity, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with the hotel's culinary concept and luxury standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with menu development, seasonal dishes, and innovative culinary concepts.
• Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
• Manage stock levels, food storage, and ingredient quality.
• Contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for hotel guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or fine-dining environment.
• Strong culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience in menu planning, food cost control, and kitchen operations.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, seasonal hospitality environment.
• Fluency in English will be considered an advantage.
