About The Role
- Performs specialized technical and analytical engineering analysis for jet engines. Analysis includes evaluating historical engine removal and failure data, modeling the engine with specialized software and then developing custom software for the end customer to assist them in work-scoping the engines out in the field. • Plans and conducts engineering projects related to gas turbine engine reliability and life cycle management to support outside contracts or internal projects. • Originates and develops analysis methods to optimize life cycle cost of engines, subsystems, and components. • Presents failure data, analysis methods, results, and recommendations to internal and external customers. • Develops data collection and analysis tools for use in reliability analyses.
