Accenture Construct - Procurement Expeditor, ANS

About The Role
You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

THE WORK:
You’ll track, expedite, and coordinate the delivery of major equipment and bulk materials for utility-scale solar PV projects (PV modules, inverters, single-axis trackers, transformers, switchgear, and cable). You’ll establish and maintain detailed material status logs, expediting schedules, and critical path delivery tracking from factory fabrication through site delivery.
You’ll perform proactive vendor shop visits, manufacturing milestone audits, and factory testing tracking to ensure original equipment manufacturer (OEM) production schedules remain on track.
You’ll coordinate closely with EPC logistics leads, freight forwarders, port authorities, and transport carriers to clear customs, resolve shipping delays, and optimize delivery sequences to site.
You’ll manage and resolve Purchase Order (PO) revisions, change orders, delivery exceptions, and freight damage claims with key equipment vendors. You’ll perform lead-time evaluations, supply-chain risk assessments, and delay impact modeling to identify potential construction bottlenecks early.
You’ll track factory acceptance testing (FAT), quality control documentation, material test reports (MTRs), and certificates of conformance prior to equipment dispatch. You’ll liaise between vendor manufacturing teams, EPC site procurement, construction field engineers, and project management to ensure real-time visibility of delivery status.
You’ll oversee laydown yard delivery scheduling, material receiving verification, site delivery inspection logs, and OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) report resolution.
You’ll support procurement transformation initiatives, leveraging digital supply chain tracking systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore, and vendor management dashboards) to improve transparency and efficiency.
You’ll monitor supplier KPIs, delivery performance metrics, and contractual milestone compliance to ensure favorable schedule adherence and risk mitigation. You’ll ensure supply continuity and business resilience by developing transportation mitigation strategies and contingency logistics plans for high-risk equipment.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree
Up to 7 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Equipment Expediting within capital construction projects.
Preferred experience with utility-scale solar PV and/or battery energy storage system (BESS) equipment procurement and expediting.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and enforce PO milestone delivery schedules under fast-track construction timelines.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience working within an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) execution model on large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure programs.
Hands-on experience tracking major equipment procurement items such as tier-1 solar modules, central/string inverters, tracker systems, and main power transformers (MPTs).
Proficiency with enterprise ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, Procore, or specialized logistics tracking tools).
Strong knowledge of international/domestic freight logistics, port customs clearance, heavy-haul transportation logistics, and laydown yard management.
