About The Role

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

THE WORK:

You’ll lead as the Senior Project Manager / Lead Engineering Manager on utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) capital projects, directing execution from greenfield development through EPC construction and commercial operation. You’ll oversee engineering design, site layout optimization, collector substation development, and transmission interconnection packages from initial feasibility through commissioning, ensuring strict compliance with safety, budget, and schedule standards.
You’ll review and validate major technical design studies, energy yield assessments (PVsyst), equipment specifications (inverters, trackers, MPTs), and grid intertie protection requirements, advising clients on optimal risk allocation.
You’ll manage EPC contractor performance, construction milestone execution, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site commissioning tasks for major solar plant equipment, maintaining rigorous activity logs and resolving technical challenges.
You’ll ensure the highest quality of engineering and construction deliverables by managing document reviews, technical submittal approvals, and compliance with NEC, NERC, and IEEE standards.
You’ll collaborate across engineering disciplines, procurement teams, and site construction crews to proactively identify, address, and resolve technical and logistical bottlenecks.
You’ll maintain comprehensive project controls records, manage master project schedules (Primavera P6), track critical path items, and ensure timely procurement of long-lead electrical equipment.
You’ll develop strategic recommendations to improve cost-effectiveness, value engineering, and project performance while championing a zero-incident safety culture on site.
You’ll provide executive leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to project team members, client representatives, and sub-tier contractors to optimize overall project delivery. You’ll lead executive status reviews, stakeholder steering committee meetings, and financial progress reporting to monitor schedule, budget, and key performance indicators promptly.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
Minimum 10 years of progressive work experience managing utility-scale solar PV capital projects, renewable energy portfolios, or major electrical infrastructure with direct EPC execution oversight.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Direct, hands-on experience managing utility-scale solar PV and co-located battery energy storage systems (BESS) EPC construction execution.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Graduate Degree or advanced coursework in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy Systems, or Project Management.
Advanced ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical power systems, grid interconnections, and balance-of-plant (BOP) designs, applying industry codes and best practices. Deep knowledge of high-voltage substation design, high-voltage transmission lines, collector systems, and utility interconnection agreements (LGIA/SGIA).
Expertise in organizing, reporting, and evaluating project cost and schedule progress data (earned value management, planned vs. actual, ACWP/BCWP, and forecasting) in Primavera P6. Strong executive leadership, negotiation, and time-management skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering utility-scale renewable projects on time and under budget.
