Gallery Attendant

The Maxwell Museum strives to be the most welcoming museum on campus. As the first person visitors will see upon entering, being a Gallery Attendant is a job for a people person. In this position, you will: Assist with opening and closing the museum; Greet and assist museum visitors, including providing information on museum rules and exhibitions; Issue parking permits to visitors; Keep daily tally of visitors and records numbers; Provide coverage in the museum gift shop, when needed; Run errands to different UNM departments; Help with upkeep and installation and deinstallation of exhibitions; Manage distribution of front desk material; Perform general office duties; Assist with opening receptions and other public events; Assist with filling in for the Administrative desk when needed; Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
