Job Purpose

The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and plant operations at our state-of-the-art facility in Jeddah. This role is vital for aligning daily factory operations with corporate business goals, optimizing resource utilization, and leading multi-cultural teams. The successful candidate will leverage strategic planning and factory automation to maximize efficiency, maintain peak safety and quality standards, and scale production capacity for our premium bedding lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Plant Leadership: Oversee daily end-to-end mattress manufacturing workflows, including quilting, foam cutting, pocket spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging.
• Workflow Optimization: Design and implement process improvements to maximize the output of automated machinery while minimizing raw material waste.
• ERP Data Management: Direct the utilization of Odoo ERP (Manufacturing and Inventory modules) to log processes, trace materials, and track overall factory performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Synchronization: Partner with procurement, plant maintenance, and logistics teams to balance supply chain requirements, mitigate material shortages, and schedule preventive equipment downtime.
• Financial & Budgetary Control: Manage plant operational budgets, conduct performance analyses, and drive cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
• Workforce Management: Direct, mentor, and evaluate a multi-cultural workforce, fostering an environment of safety, professional development, and high productivity.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management. An MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant business or management discipline is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in plant operations, production management, or industrial manufacturing.
• Industry Background: Strong preference for experience within mattress manufacturing, bedding, foam, textile high-volume production, or closely related consumer goods industries.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency with ERP infrastructure, specifically Odoo ERP software modules, alongside a strong data-analytical and engineering mindset.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is strictly required. Conversational proficiency in Arabic is highly valued. [1, 2, 3, 4]
