About The Role

Join Brightflag as a Senior Product Designer, where you'll communicate design vision, untangle ambiguous problem spaces, and lead human-centered discovery and research. You'll work closely with product management and engineering, produce high-quality design work, and contribute to the Brightflag Design System. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in product design within a SaaS environment, strong human-centered design skills, and experience designing complex B2B products.

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Design within a product-led SaaS environment
  • Used to working closely with Product Management and Engineering as part of a tight product trio — collaborating early and often, not working in handoffs
  • Strong in human-centred design and discovery — comfortable framing problems properly, exploring options, speaking with customers, and validating direction before committing to build
  • Able to use both qualitative research and quantitative product data to shape decisions, prioritise effectively, and evaluate the impact of shipped work
  • Comfortable working with product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA or similar)
  • Proven product design craft expertise — experience owning meaningful product areas end-to-end, not just delivering screens, but shaping the problem space and seeing it through to impact
  • Experienced working in iterative, Agile product environments, designing in small increments and learning continuously
  • Clear communicator who can explain their thinking, talk through trade-offs, and influence decisions
  • Experience designing complex, workflow-heavy B2B products — ideally including multi-sided platforms where different user types (e.g. internal teams, external partners/vendors) interact with shared data under different permissions and needs
  • Comfortable designing accessible, inclusive experiences (WCAG 2.1 AA or equivalent) as a baseline, not an afterthought
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance design and research workflows, with the ability to bring new ways of working and help the team learn and evolve in this space
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, making principled trade-offs that balance user value, technical constraints, and business priorities
  • Experience working on AI-driven or data-rich products
  • Experience in legal tech, GRC, or another compliance-adjacent B2B SaaS category
